Interview with Kristina Smirnova

Interview with Kristina Smirnova (She went to a coed high school.)

If you had to make the decision again to go to a coed high school; would you make the same decision?
Yes, I would make the same decision.

What was one way you benefited from going to a coed school?
I learned life lessons having to deal with both sexes. I was able to experience real situations with everyone; not just girls.

What was one disadvantage of going to a coed school?
There was a lot of romantic drama between the two sexes that people got caught up in. This had a negative affect on their schoolwork.

Did going to a coed school make you feel as if you had to impress the opposite sex in the way you looked, or in your performance in school?
In a way yes because when you go to a coed school there is a lot of attention and pressure from both sexes; not just one.

Did you feel more or less stress on doing well in your schoolwork knowing that the opposite sex was constantly with you?
It did not make a difference to me. The opposite sex had no affect on my school work.
